One of the best things you can do this month is advocate for adoptive parents in the workplace. Employers often don't consider adoption the same as giving birth and when families adopt, they don't generally get to take the same amount of time of work that parents who have given birth get. Advocate for an Adoption Friendly Workplace by speaking to you Human Resources Director about ways they can be fair to those building their family through adoption.
