Make sure you watch the Adoption.com Events Calendar for picnics and other events in your area this month. Don't see anything local? Post your event for free. If you're hosting a special event that promotes adoption awareness in your community, you can register your event in the Adoption.com Events Calendar at no cost. Events listed in the Calendar are often featured in the AdoptionWeek.com Weekly E-Magazine.

Don't forget to participate in the Local Adoption Forums for your area when planning! This is a great way to network with others in your area who are interested in National Adoption Awareness Month activities.
